My name is Kelly and I am the founder of Butta Baby. Together with my partner, Jarred, and our two beautiful babies, Layla and Ziggy, we are Butta Baby.
Based in Geelong, it’s been a true labour of love (and sleepless nights, thanks to our two little ones). The idea first sparked after Layla was born.
As a new mum, all I wanted was the best for my baby girl. She often got rashes on her tummy and back, so I was always worried about the clothes she wore to bed - was she too hot, too cold, itchy or uncomfortable?

Obsessively researching fabrics that were good for babies with sensitive skin, that’s when I came across bamboo viscose. A miracle from Mother Nature herself, bamboo is a beautiful fabric that’s not only butter-soft on the skin but also breathable, thermoregulating, and delightfully stretchy. When we finally made the switch to bamboo sleepwear, Layla’s rashes disappeared and she seemed so much happier and cosier.

So much so that Jarred and I also gave bamboo PJs a try…it’s an absolute game-changer and we’ve never turned back.
With all that being said, this journey has grown and evolved more than we could have ever dreamt of. Beyond bamboo, it’s our story of finding comfort and making the best choices for our loved ones. Welcome to the Butta Baby family, we hope you sleep on a whisper-soft cloud of comfort tonight.
